Vehicle and Traffic (Decision-Maker Declaration) Notice 2025
I make the following notice under section 33(6) of the Vehicle and Traffic Act 1999 .

This notice may be cited as the Vehicle and Traffic (Decision-maker Declaration) Notice 2025 .
This notice takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.
3. Declaration of decision-maker
The Australian Association of National Advertisers (ABN 54 003 179 673), also known as Ad Standards, is declared to be a decision-maker for the purposes of section 33 of the Vehicle and Traffic Act 1999 .
Displayed and numbered in accordance with the Rules Publication Act 1953.
Notified in the Gazette on 17 December 2025
This notice is administered in the Department of State Growth.
EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the notice)
For the purposes of Part 4 of the Vehicle and Traffic Act 1999 , this notice declares the Australian Association of National Advertisers, also known as Ad Standards, to be a decision-maker for the determination of complaints about breaches of the advertising code.
