Inland Fisheries (Seasons and Waters) Amendment Order 2025
I make the following order under section 197 of the Inland Fisheries Act 1995 .

This order may be cited as the Inland Fisheries (Seasons and Waters) Amendment Order 2025 .
This order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.
In this order, the Inland Fisheries (Seasons and Waters) Order 1996 is referred to as the Principal Order.
4. Clause 4 amended (Taking of acclimatised fish)
Clause 4(1)(f) of the Principal Order is amended as follows:(a) by inserting the following subparagraph before subparagraph (i) :(iaa) Bradys Lake, except Woodwards Canal; and(b) by inserting the following subparagraph after subparagraph (v) :(va) Lake Binney; and(c) by inserting in subparagraph (xiii) "and" after "Tamar;";(d) by inserting the following subparagraph after subparagraph (xiii) :(xvi) Tungatinah Lagoon;
5. Clause 7 amended (Taking fish in certain waters)
Clause 7 of the Principal Order is amended by omitting subclause (1A) .

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the order)
This order amends the Inland Fisheries (Seasons and Waters) Order 1996 to –(a) enable acclimatised fish to be taken from Bradys Lake, Lake Binney and Tungatinah Lagoon all year round; and(b) remove the restriction on who is permitted to take fish from Plenty River.
