Vehicle and Traffic (Heavy Vehicle Charges) Amendment Regulations 2023
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Vehicle and Traffic Act 1999 .

These regulations may be cited as the Vehicle and Traffic (Heavy Vehicle Charges) Amendment Regulations 2023 .
These regulations take effect on the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette.
In these regulations, the Vehicle and Traffic (Heavy Vehicle Charges) Regulations 2017 are referred to as the Principal Regulations.
4. Schedule 1 amended (Heavy Vehicle Tax)
Schedule 1 to the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting Parts 1 and 2 and substituting the following Parts:PART 1 - Road Component of Motor Tax for a financial yearDivision 1 - Load-carrying vehicles
