Launceston Flood Risk Management Order 2023

I make the following order under section 4(1) of the Launceston Flood Risk Management Act 2015 .

1.   Short title

This order may be cited as the Launceston Flood Risk Management Order 2023 .

2.   Commencement

This order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.

3.   Principal Act

In this order, the Launceston Flood Risk Management Act 2015 is referred to as the Principal Act.

4.    Schedule 1 substituted

Schedule 1 to the Principal Act is repealed and the following Schedule is substituted:
SCHEDULE 1 - Flood-prone Area

Notified in the Gazette on 1 March 2023

This order is administered in the Department of Natural Resources and Environment Tasmania.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the order)

This order amends the Launceston Flood Risk Management Act 2015 by repealing and substituting Schedule 1 to the Act, which shows the flood-prone area for the purposes of the Act.
