Restricted Hire Vehicle Industry Amendment Regulations 2018
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Taxi and Hire Vehicle Industries Act 2008 .

These regulations may be cited as the Restricted Hire Vehicle Industry Amendment Regulations 2018 .
These regulations take effect on the day on which the Taxi Industry Regulations 2018 commence.
In these regulations, the Restricted Hire Vehicle Industry Regulations 2013 are referred to as the Principal Regulations.
4. Regulation 3 amended (Interpretation)
Regulation 3 of the Principal Regulations is amended as follows:(a) by omitting the definition of registration plate and substituting the following definition:registration plate means a number plate issued by the Registrar under the Vehicle and Traffic Act 1999 in respect of a vehicle's registration under that Act;(b) by omitting " Taxi Industry Regulations 2008 " from the definition of security camera system and substituting " Taxi Industry Regulations 2018 ".
5. Regulation 13 amended (Installation of security camera)
Regulation 13(3) of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting " Taxi Industry Regulations 2008 " and substituting " Taxi Industry Regulations 2018 ".
