Subordinate Legislation Order 2002

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following order under section 11(5) of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1992 .

1.   Short title

This order may be cited as the Subordinate Legislation Order 2002 .

2.   Commencement

This order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.

3.   Postponement of repeal

The repeal under section 11 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1992 of the following statutory rules is postponed until 1 January 2004:

(a) Animal (Brands and Movement) Regulations 1986 ;

(b) Electoral Regulations 1985 ;

(c) Meat Hygiene Regulations 1986 ;

(d) Prisoners (Interstate Transfer) Regulations 1984 .

Displayed and numbered in accordance with the Rules Publication Act 1953.

This order is administered in the Department of Treasury and Finance.

This order postpones the repeal under section 11 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1992 of the following statutory rules until 1 January 2004:
