Vehicle and Traffic (Review of Decisions) Amendment Regulations 2001

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Vehicle and Traffic Act 1999 .

1.   Short title

These regulations may be cited as the Vehicle and Traffic (Review of Decisions) Amendment Regulations 2001 .

2.   Commencement

These regulations take effect on 1 January 2002.

3.   Principal Regulations

In these regulations, the Vehicle and Traffic (Review of Decisions) Regulations 2000 are referred to as the Principal Regulations.

4.    Regulation 6 amended (Applications for review)

Regulation 6(1)(b) of the Principal Regulations is amended by inserting "or Part 3 " after " Part 2 ".

5.    Schedule 1 amended (Administrative decisions and eligible persons)

Schedule 1 to the Principal Regulations is amended by inserting after Part 2 the following Part:

PART 3 - Administrative decisions under the Vehicle and Traffic (Vehicle Operations) Regulations 2001

These regulations amend the Vehicle and Traffic (Review of Decisions) Regulations 2000 (S.R. 2000, No. 151) by providing for the review of certain decisions under the Vehicle and Traffic (Vehicle Operations) Regulations 2001 .
