Subordinate Legislation Order 2001

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following order under section 11(5) of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1992 .

1.   Short title

This order may be cited as the Subordinate Legislation Order 2001 .

2.   Commencement

This order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.

3.   Postponement of repeal

The repeal under section 11 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1992 of the following statutory rules is postponed until 1 January 2003:

(a) Land Surveyors (Examination and Registration) By-laws 1982 ;

(b) Land Surveyors (Survey Practice) By-laws 1982 ;

(c) Land Titles Regulations 1981 ;

(d) Long Service Leave (Casual Wharf Employees) Regulations 1982 ;

(e) Transport (Ferries) By-laws 1981 .

This order is administered in the Department of Treasury and Finance.
