Motor Vehicles Taxation (Rescission) Regulations 2000
I, the Lieutenant-Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Motor Vehicles Taxation Act 1981 .

These regulations may be cited as the Motor Vehicles Taxation (Rescission) Regulations 2000 .
These regulations take effect on the day on which the Vehicle and Traffic Act 1999 commences.
3. Motor Vehicles Taxation Regulations 1996 rescinded
The Motor Vehicles Taxation Regulations 1996 are rescinded.
Displayed and numbered in accordance with the Rules Publication Act 1953.

These regulations are administered in the Department of Infrastructure, Energy and Resources.

These regulations rescind the Motor Vehicles Taxation Regulations 1996 consequential on the enactment of the Vehicle and Traffic Act 1999 .
