Government Prices Oversight (MAIB Premiums) Amendment Order (No. 2) 2000
I make the following order under the Government Prices Oversight Act 1995 .

This order may be cited as the Government Prices Oversight (MAIB Premiums) Amendment Order (No. 2) 2000 .
This order takes effect on the day on which the Vehicle and Traffic Act 1999 commences.
In this order, the Government Prices Oversight (MAIB Premiums) Order 1997 is referred to as the Principal Order.
4. Clause 3 amended (Interpretation)
Clause 3(1) of the Principal Order is amended as follows:(a) by omitting " section 14A of the Traffic Act 1925 " from the definition of hire and drive vehicle and substituting " section 33 of the Vehicle and Traffic Act 1999 ";(b) by omitting "appointed under regulation 3 of the Traffic (Miscellaneous) Regulations 1968 " from the definition of Registrar .
5. Schedule 1 amended (Category 1, 2, 3 and 4 motor vehicles)
Schedule 1 to the Principal Order is amended as follows:(a) by omitting item 8 from Part 1 and substituting the following:

Trade plate
A motor vehicle used under the authority of a trade plate issued under the Vehicle and Traffic Act 1999

(b) by omitting paragraph (a) from item 1 in Part 3 and substituting the following:
(a) registered on conditions restricting its operation or use; or
Displayed and numbered in accordance with the Rules Publication Act 1953.

This order is administered by the Motor Accidents Insurance Board.
