Environment Protection (Atmospheric Pollution) Amendment Regulations 2000
I, the Lieutenant-Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Environmental Management and Pollution Control Act 1994 .

These regulations may be cited as the Environment Protection (Atmospheric Pollution) Amendment Regulations 2000 .
These regulations take effect on the day on which the Vehicle and Traffic Act 1999 commences.
In these regulations, the Environment Protection (Atmospheric Pollution) Regulations 1974 are referred to as the Principal Regulations.
Schedule 2 to the Principal Regulations is amended as follows:(a) by omitting from subclause (5) of clause 2 "the owner" and substituting "the registered operator";(b) by omitting subclause (6) of clause 2 and substituting the following subclause:(6) In this clause motor vehicle has the same meaning as in the Vehicle and Traffic Act 1999 ;registered means registered under the Vehicle and Traffic Act 1999 ;registered operator has the same meaning as in the Vehicle and Traffic Act 1999 .
