Electricity Supply Industry (Tariff Customers) Amendment Regulations 2000

I, the Lieutenant-Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Electricity Supply Industry Act 1995 .

1.   Short title

These regulations may be cited as the Electricity Supply Industry (Tariff Customers) Amendment Regulations 2000 .

2.   Commencement

These regulations take effect on the day on which the Vehicle and Traffic Act 1999 commences.

3.   Principal Regulations

In these regulations, the Electricity Supply Industry (Tariff Customers) Regulations 1998 are referred to as the Principal Regulations.

4.    Regulation 3 amended (Interpretation)

Regulation 3(2) of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting paragraph (b) and substituting the following paragraph:
(b) a current driver licence or passport; or

Displayed and numbered in accordance with the Rules Publication Act 1953.

These regulations amend the Electricity Supply Industry (Tariff Customers) Regulations 1998 consequential on the enactment of the Vehicle and Traffic Act 1999 .
