Repeal of Regulations Postponement Act 2015
An Act to postpone the repeal of the Retirement Benefits Regulations 2005

Be it enacted by Her Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows:
This Act may be cited as the Repeal of Regulations Postponement Act 2015 .
This Act commences on the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent.
(1) The repeal of the Retirement Benefits Regulations 2005 under section 11 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1992 that, but for this section, would have been effected on 1 July 2015 is postponed until 1 July 2017.(2) Subsection (1) does not prevent the Retirement Benefits Regulations 2005 being rescinded before 1 July 2017.
Until provision is made in relation to this Act by order under section 4 of the Administrative Arrangements Act 1990 (a) the administration of this Act is assigned to the Treasurer; and(b) the department responsible to the Treasurer in relation to the administration of this Act is the Department of Treasury and Finance.
This Act expires on 1 July 2017.
