EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the regulation)
These regulations –(a) prescribe the fees payable for certain applications made under the Retirement Villages Act 2004 ; and(b) prescribe that the operator of a retirement village is to give a Certificate of Currency for insurance to certain persons; and(c) prescribe the minimum amount of public liability insurance required for a retirement village; and(d) are made consequentially on the repeal of the Retirement Villages Regulations 2015 under section 11 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1992 .
