EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the regulation)
These regulations –(a) prescribe 30 June 2009 as the cut-off date for the making of drug treatment orders under Part 3A of the Sentencing Act 1997 ; and(b) prescribe the cost of a warrant of commitment and the amount of a prescribed unit for the purposes of that Act; and(c) prescribe a form for the purposes of section 89(1)(a) of that Act; and(d) are made consequentially on the repeal of the Sentencing Regulations 1998 under section 11 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1992 .
