Police Powers (Surveillance Devices) (Corresponding Laws) Regulations 2021
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Police Powers (Surveillance Devices) Act 2006 .

These regulations may be cited as the Police Powers (Surveillance Devices) (Corresponding Laws) Regulations 2021 .
These regulations take effect on the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette.
For the purposes of the definition of corresponding law in section 3(1) of the Police Powers (Surveillance Devices) Act 2006 , the following laws of other jurisdictions are declared to correspond to that Act:(a) Crimes (Surveillance Devices) Act 2010 of the Australian Capital Territory;(b) Surveillance Devices Act 2007 of New South Wales;(c) Surveillance Devices Act 2007 of the Northern Territory;(d) Chapter 13 of the Police Powers and Responsibilities Act 2000 of Queensland;(e) Surveillance Devices Act 2016 of South Australia;(f) Surveillance Devices Act 1999 of Victoria;(g) Surveillance Devices Act 2004 of the Commonwealth.
The legislation specified in Schedule 1 is rescinded.
