Inland Fisheries (Protected Fish) Order 2019

I make the following order under section 131(1) of the Inland Fisheries Act 1995 .

1.   Short title

This order may be cited as the Inland Fisheries (Protected Fish) Order 2019 .

2.   Commencement

This order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.

3.   Interpretation

In this order –

Act means Inland Fisheries Act 1995 ;

estuary perch means fish of the species (Macquaria colonorum).

4.   Protected fish

Estuary perch is declared to be protected fish for the purposes of the Act.

Displayed and numbered in accordance with the Rules Publication Act 1953.
