Boundary Fences Regulations 2018

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Boundary Fences Act 1908 .

1.   Short title

These regulations may be cited as the Boundary Fences Regulations 2018 .

2.   Commencement

These regulations take effect on 17 December 2018.

3.   Notice to fence

(1)  A notice under section 9 of the Boundary Fences Act 1908 to join in erecting a sufficient fence or rabbit-proof fence is to be in accordance with Form 1 of Schedule 1 .

(2)  A notice under section 9 of the Boundary Fences Act 1908 to join in making an existing fence rabbit-proof is to be in accordance with Form 2 of Schedule 1 .
