Proclamation under the Roads and Jetties Act 1935

I, the Lieutenant-Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, by this my proclamation made under section 52A of the Roads and Jetties Act 1935  –

(a) amend the proclamation notified in the Gazette as Statutory Rules 1982, No. 45, by –
(i) omitting items (2) and (3) from the table in Schedule 1 to that proclamation; and
(ii) omitting the following tables from Schedule 2 to that proclamation; and

Distance in kilometres west from the western abutment of Brushy Creek Bridge

Duke Street – Both sides

Description

Distance in kilometres south of Freestone Creek Bridge

Old Coach Road – West side

(b) declare that the parts of the Tasman Highway specified in the items referred to in paragraph (a)(i) to this proclamation cease to be limited access roads; and
(c) declare that the places of access declared for those roads, and specified in the tables in paragraph (a)(ii) to this proclamation, cease to be places of access; and
(d) declare that this proclamation takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.
