Security and Investigations Agents Regulations 2015

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Security and Investigations Agents Act 2002 .

1.   Short title

These regulations may be cited as the Security and Investigations Agents Regulations 2015 .

2.   Commencement

These regulations take effect on 28 December 2015.

3.   Interpretation

In these regulations, unless the contrary intention appears –
Act means the Security and Investigations Agents Act 2002 .

4.   Infringement offences and penalties

(1)  The offences against a section of the Act specified in column 2 of Schedule 1 are prescribed as infringement offences.
(2)  The penalty specified in column 3 of Schedule 1 in relation to an infringement offence is the penalty payable under an infringement notice issued and served for that infringement offence.

5.   Fees

The fees set out in Schedule 2 are the fees prescribed for the purposes of the Act.
