State Service (Restructuring) Order (No. 2) 2014

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council and on the recommendation of the Minister, make the following order under section 11 of the State Service Act 2000 .

1.   Short title

This order may be cited as the State Service (Restructuring) Order (No. 2) 2014 .

2.   Commencement

This order takes effect on 1 July 2014.

3.   Change of name of Government department

The name of the Government department known as the Department of Infrastructure, Energy and Resources is changed to the Department of State Growth.

4.   Amalgamation of Government departments

The Department of Economic Development, Tourism and the Arts is amalgamated with the Department of State Growth.
