Gas Pipelines (Transmission Pipeline) Order 2011

I, the Lieutenant-Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following order under section 3(3) of the Gas Pipelines Act 2000 .

1.   Short title

This order may be cited as the Gas Pipelines (Transmission Pipeline) Order 2011 .

2.   Commencement

This order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.

3.   Pipeline to be a transmission pipeline

(1)  In this clause –

pipeline facility has the same meaning as in the Gas Pipelines Act 2000 .

(2)  This clause applies to the pipeline that delivers, or is capable of delivering, natural gas –

(a) from the pipeline facility situated on the land described in Certificate of Title Volume 131952 Folio 1, located on Preston Road in Gawler; and

(b) to the pipeline facility situated on the land described in Certificate of Title Volume 47482 Folio 1, located on Mason Street in Ulverstone.

(3)  For the purposes of section 3(3) of the Gas Pipelines Act 2000 , the pipeline specified in subclause (2) is to be treated as a transmission pipeline for the purposes of that Act.
