Corrections (Interstate Leave of Absence) Order 2003

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following order under section 48 of the Corrections Act 1997 .

1.   Short title

This order may be cited as the Corrections (Interstate Leave of Absence) Order 2003 .

2.   Commencement

This order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.

3.   Interstate laws

For the purposes of Part 6 of the Corrections Act 1997 , Part 8A of the Corrections Act 1986 of Victoria is declared to be an interstate law.
