Proclamation under the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1970
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, by this my proclamation made under section 14(1) of the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1970
11 November 2002(a) declare the Crown land specified in Schedule 1 to this proclamation to be reserved land in the class of conservation area; and(b) give the name Granite Point Conservation Area to that reserved land; and(c) declare that this proclamation takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.

SCHEDULE 1 - Extension of Granite Point Conservation AreaAll that area of land comprising about 50.78 hectares as shown bounded by a heavy black line on Plan 6032 in the Central Plan Register, a reduced copy of which is set out, by way of illustration only, in Schedule 2 to this proclamation.
