Proclamation under the Births, Deaths and Marriages Registration Act 1999
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, by this my proclamation made under section 2(2) of the Births, Deaths and Marriages Registration Act 1999 fix 1 November 2000 as the day on which the provisions of that Act, other than sections 1, 2 and 62, commence.
