Proclamation under the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1970
I, the Lieutenant-Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, by this my proclamation made under section 14(1) of the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1970
26 July 2000(a) declare the land specified in Schedule 1 to this proclamation to be reserved land in the class of conservation area; and(b) give the name Egg Islands Conservation Area to that reserved land; and(c) declare that this proclamation takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.

SCHEDULE 1 - Egg Islands Conservation AreaAll that area of land comprising about 163.6 hectares shown bounded by heavy black lines on Plan Number 4881 in the Central Plan Register a reduced copy of which is set out, by way of illustration only, in Schedule 2 to this proclamation.
