Proclamation under the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1970

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council and on the recommendation of the Minister, by this my proclamation made under section 14(1) of the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1970  –

(a) declare the land specified in Schedule 1 to this proclamation to be reserved land in the class of conservation area; and
(b) give the name Peter Murrell Conservation Area to that reserved land; and
(c) declare that this proclamation takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.

SCHEDULE 1 - Peter Murrell Conservation Area
All that area of Crown land in the land district of Buckingham, parish of Kingborough comprising about 130.8 hectares and shown as Lot 1 on Plan 4858 in the Central Plan Register, a reduced copy of which is set out, by way of illustration only, in Schedule 2 to this proclamation.
