Proclamation under the Roads and Jetties Act 1935

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council and in the name and on behalf of the Crown, by this my proclamation made under section 52E of the Roads and Jetties Act 1935  –

(a) dispose of the control of the road specified in Schedule 1 to this proclamation to the Launceston City Council; and
(b) dispose of the works specified in that Schedule to the Launceston City Council; and
(c) declare that this proclamation takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.

Glen Dhu Connector, as shown stippled on Plan 4121 in the Central Plan Register, comprising –

 

(a) that part of Pipeworks Road which connects the Midland Highway with Wellington Street, South Launceston and Glen Dhu Street, Glen Dhu

(b) that part of Pipeworks Road which provides access to the east of Wellington Street
