Mineral Resources Development (Exemption) Order 1999

I make the following order under section 5(4) of the Mineral Resources Development Act 1995 .

1.   Short title

This order may be cited as the Mineral Resources Development (Exemption) Order 1999 .

2.   Commencement

This order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.

3.   Land and minerals exempt from the Mineral Resources Development Act 1995

The land specified in Schedule 1 to this order is exempt from the Mineral Resources Development Act 1995 in respect of all minerals.
SCHEDULE 1 - Beaconsfield exempt area
All those areas of land in the land district of Devon comprising about 221 hectares shown hatched or marked by crosses and bounded by a heavy black line on Plan 4743 in the Central Plan Register, a reduced copy of which is set out, by way of illustration only, in Schedule 2 to this order.
