Inland Fisheries (Excepted Waters) Order 1996

I make the following order under section 8 of the Inland Fisheries Act 1995 with the agreement of the Minister responsible for the administration of the Living Marine Resources Management Act 1995 .

1.   Short title

This order may be cited as the Inland Fisheries (Excepted Waters) Order 1996 .

2.   Commencement

This order takes effect on 31 May 1996.

3.   Interpretation

In this order "Act" means the Inland Fisheries Act 1995  –

4.   Excepted waters

The waters of the River Derwent that lie upstream from an imaginary straight line drawn between the southern extremity of Dowsings Point and the southwestern extremity of Store Point to the seaward limit of that river are declared to be excepted waters for the purpose of the Act.
