Administrative Arrangements Amendment Order (No. 4) 2026

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following order under section 4 of the Administrative Arrangements Act 1990 .

1.   Short title

This order may be cited as the Administrative Arrangements Amendment Order (No. 4) 2026 .

2.   Commencement

This order takes effect on 13 August 2026.

3.   Principal Order

In this order, the Administrative Arrangements Order 2025 is referred to as the Principal Order.

4.    Schedule 1 amended (Administration of Enactments)

Schedule 1 to the Principal Order is amended by omitting Part 10 and substituting:

Waste and Resource Recovery Act 2022

Displayed and numbered in accordance with the Rules Publication Act 1953.

This order is administered in the Department of Premier and Cabinet.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the order)

This order amends the Administrative Arrangements Order 2025 by transferring administrative responsibility for the Climate Change (State Action) Act 2008 to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment Tasmania.
