Financial Management Amendment Order 2026
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following order under section 8(1) of the Financial Management Act 2016 .

This order may be cited as the Financial Management Amendment Order 2026 .
This order takes effect on 2 July 2026.
In this order, the Financial Management Act 2016 is referred to as the Principal Act.
4. Schedule 1 amended (General Government Sector Agencies)
Part 1 of Schedule 1 to the Principal Act is amended as follows:(a) by inserting afterthe following item:
Column 1 - Agency
Column 2 - Accountable authority
Building Tasmania
Secretary of the Department
(b) by omitting the following item
Department of State Growth
Secretary of the Department
Displayed and numbered in accordance with the Rules Publication Act 1953.

This order is administered in the Department of Treasury and Finance.
EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the order)
This order amends Schedule 1 of the Financial Management Act 2016 by updating the name of an Agency to reflect the change in name to Building Tasmania.
