I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following order under section 4 of the Administrative Arrangements Act 1990 .

This order may be cited as the Administrative Arrangements Amendment Order (No. 3) 2026 .
(1) Except as provided in this clause, the provisions of this order take effect on 2 July 2026.(2) Part 3 takes effect on 16 July 2026.

In this Part, the Administrative Arrangements Order 2025 is referred to as the Principal Order.

This order –(a) amends the Administrative Arrangements Order 2025 by –(i) updating references to the Department of State Growth to Building Tasmania; and(ii) transferring responsibility for certain Acts from the Department of Premier and Cabinet to the Department of Health; and(b) further amends that Order, at a later date, by transferring responsibility for certain Acts from the Department of Premier and Cabinet to the Department of Justice.
