Inland Fisheries (Seasons and Waters) Amendment Order 2026

I make the following order under section 197 of the Inland Fisheries Act 1995 .

1.   Short title

This order may be cited as the Inland Fisheries (Seasons and Waters) Amendment Order 2026 .

2.   Commencement

This order takes effect on 1 August 2026.

3.   Principal Order

In this order, the Inland Fisheries (Seasons and Waters) Order 1996 is referred to as the Principal Order.

4.    Clause 4 amended (Taking of acclimatised fish)

Clause 4(1)(b) of the Principal Order is amended as follows:

(a) by inserting in subparagraph (ix) "and" after "source;";

(b) by inserting the following subparagraph after subparagraph (ix) :

(x) the body of water located at grid reference 509830E 5298957N (commonly known as Den Dam) from one hour before sunrise to one hour after sunset;

This order amends the Inland Fisheries (Seasons and Waters) Order 1996 by enabling acclimatised fish to be taken from Den Dam at certain times and on certain dates.
