Proclamation under the Roads and Jetties Act 1935

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, by this my proclamation made under section 7 of the Roads and Jetties Act 1935 declare that –

(a) the portion of road specified in Schedule 1 to this proclamation ceases to be a State highway for the purposes of Part II of that Act; and
(b) this proclamation takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.

This proclamation, for the purposes of the Roads and Jetties Act 1935 declares that a portion of the Bass Highway, known as South Road, ceases to be a State highway.
