Poisons (Application of Uniform Standard) Amendment Order 2026
I make the following order under section 14(2) of the Poisons Act 1971 .

This order may be cited as the Poisons (Application of Uniform Standard) Amendment Order 2026 .
This order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.
In this order, the Poisons (Application of Uniform Standard) Order 2021 is referred to as the Principal Order.
4. Clause 4 amended (Amendment of Uniform Standard)
Clause 4(a)(iv) of the Principal Order is amended by inserting after sub-subparagraph (C) the following sub-subparagraph:(D) the therapeutic goods contain hemp seed oil containing 75mg/kg or less of cannabidiol and 10mg/kg or less of tetrahydrocannabinols; or
Displayed and numbered in accordance with the Rules Publication Act 1953.

This order amends the Poisons (Application of Uniform Standard) Order 2021 by updating the reference to cannabis consequent on amendments made to the Uniform Standard.
