Administrative Arrangements Amendment Order 2026

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following order under section 4 of the Administrative Arrangements Act 1990 .

1.   Short title

This order may be cited as the Administrative Arrangements Amendment Order 2026 .

2.   Commencement

This order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.

3.   Principal Order

In this order, the Administrative Arrangements Order 2025 is referred to as the Principal Order.

4.    Schedule 1 amended (Administration of Enactments)

Schedule 1 to the Principal Order is amended by omitting Part 16 and substituting:

PART 16 - Minister for Macquarie Point Urban Renewal

DEPARTMENT OF PREMIER AND CABINET

Macquarie Point Development Corporation Act 2012

Displayed and numbered in accordance with the Rules Publication Act 1953.

Notified in the Gazette on 11 February 2026

This order is administered in the Department of Premier and Cabinet.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the order)

This order amends the Administrative Arrangements Order 2025 by transferring responsibility for the administration of the Macquarie Point Development Corporation Act 2012 from the Department of State Growth to the Department of Premier and Cabinet.
