Threatened Species Protection Order 2025
I make the following order under section 13(5) of the Threatened Species Protection Act 1995 .

This order may be cited as the Threatened Species Protection Order 2025 .
This order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.
In this order, the Threatened Species Protection Act 1995 is referred to as the Principal Act.
4. Schedule 3 amended (Taxa of native flora and fauna which are endangered)
Schedule 3 to the Principal Act is amended as follows:(a) by adding after item 20 in Subdivision 2 of Division 1 of Part 1 the following item:

(b) by omitting item 27 from Subdivision 2 of Division 1 of Part 1 ;(c) by adding after item 49 in Subdivision 1 of Division 2 of Part 1 the following item:

This order amends the Threatened Species Protection Act 1995 by –(a) omitting certain species from the Schedules for endangered, vulnerable and rare native flora and fauna; and(b) adding certain species to the Schedules for endangered, vulnerable and rare native flora and fauna; and(c) effecting minor statute law revision.
