Local Government (Transfer to Council - Waratah) Order 2025
After consultation with the Waratah-Wynyard Council and being satisfied that it is appropriate to do so, I make the following order under section 140(2) of the Local Government Act 1993 .

This order may be cited as the Local Government (Transfer to Council – Waratah) Order 2025 .
This order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.
3. Transfer of land to Waratah-Wynyard Council
The following land is transferred to the Waratah-Wynyard Council:(a) the land situated at Waratah in Tasmania and comprised in Volume 203834, Folio 1 of the Register kept under section 33 of the Land Titles Act 1980 ;(b) the land situated at Waratah in Tasmania and comprised in Volume 203835, Folio 1 of the Register kept under section 33 of the Land Titles Act 1980 ;(c) the land situated at Waratah in Tasmania and comprised in Volume 203836, Folio 1 of the Register kept under section 33 of the Land Titles Act 1980 ;(d) the land situated at Waratah in Tasmania and comprised in Volume 203837, Folio 1 of the Register kept under section 33 of the Land Titles Act 1980 .

This order transfers certain land to the Waratah-Wynyard Council subsequent to reasonable attempts by that council to sell that land.
