Administrative Arrangements Amendment Order (No. 3) 2024

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following order under section 4 of the Administrative Arrangements Act 1990 .

1.   Short title

This order may be cited as the Administrative Arrangements Amendment Order (No. 3) 2024 .

2.   Commencement

This order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.

3.   Principal Order

In this order, the Administrative Arrangements Order (No. 2) 2024 is referred to as the Principal Order.

4.    Schedule 1 amended (Administration of Enactments)

Schedule 1 to the Principal Order is amended as follows:

(a) by omitting the following item

Gaming Control Act 1993

from Part 12 ;

(b) by omitting the following item

Liquor Licensing Act 1990

from Part 12 ;

(c) by omitting the following item

TT-Line Gaming Act 1993

from Part 12 ;

(d) by inserting in Part 28 after

Financial Management Act 2016

the following item:

Gaming Control Act 1993

(e) by inserting in Part 28 after

Judges' Contributory Pensions Act 1968

the following item:

Liquor Licensing Act 1990

(f) by inserting in Part 28 after

Treasury (Borrowing) Act 2016

the following item:

TT-Line Gaming Act 1993

Displayed and numbered in accordance with the Rules Publication Act 1953.

This order is administered in the Department of Premier and Cabinet.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the order)

This order amends the Administrative Arrangements Order (No. 2) 2024 by transferring responsibility for the administration of certain Acts from the Minister for Finance to the Treasurer.
