State Service Amendment Regulations 2023
I, the Lieutenant-Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the State Service Act 2000 .

These regulations may be cited as the State Service Amendment Regulations 2023 .
These regulations take effect on the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette.
In these regulations, the State Service Regulations 2021 are referred to as the Principal Regulations.
4. Schedule 1 amended (Offices prescribed for purposes of section 31(1)(b) of Act)
Schedule 1 to the Principal Regulations is amended by inserting after item 3 the following item:
4. State Litigator
Displayed and numbered in accordance with the Rules Publication Act 1953.

These regulations are administered in the Department of Premier and Cabinet.

These regulations amend the State Service Regulations 2021 by including the position of State Litigator in the list of prescribed offices for the purposes of the State Service Act 2000 .
