Threatened Species Protection Order 2022
I make the following order under section 13(5) of the Threatened Species Protection Act 1995 .

This order may be cited as the Threatened Species Protection Order 2022 .
This order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.
In this order, the Threatened Species Protection Act 1995 is referred to as the Principal Act.
4. Schedule 3 amended (Taxa of native flora and fauna which are endangered)
Part 1 of Schedule 3 to the Principal Act is amended as follows:(a) by adding after item 1 in the Fish table in Subdivision 1 of Division 1 the following item:

(b) by omitting item 1A in the Fish table from Subdivision 1 of Division 1 and adding the following item:

(c) by adding after item 27 in Subdivision 2 of Division 1 the following item:

Schedule 4 to the Principal Act is amended by omitting item 19 from Division 2 of Part 1 .
6. Schedule 5 amended (Taxa of native flora and fauna which are rare)
Schedule 5 to the Principal Act is amended by omitting item 60 from Division 1 of Part 2 .

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This order amends the Threatened Species Protection Act 1995 by –(a) adding certain species to, and omitting certain species from, the Schedules of endangered, vulnerable and rare flora and fauna; and(b) updating certain taxonomic, authority and common name references in the Schedules.
