State Service (Agencies) Order (No. 2) 2022

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following order under section 12 of the State Service Act 2000 .

1.   Short title

This order may be cited as the State Service (Agencies) Order (No. 2) 2022 .

2.   Commencement

This order takes effect on 1 December 2022.

3.   Principal Act

In this order, the State Service Act 2000 is referred to as the Principal Act.

4.    Schedule 1 amended (Agencies)

Schedule 1 to the Principal Act is amended by omitting

Department of Communities Tasmania

Secretary

from Part 1 .

Displayed and numbered in accordance with the Rules Publication Act 1953.

This order is administered in the Department of Premier and Cabinet.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the order)

This order amends the State Service Act 2000 so that the Department of Communities Tasmania ceases to be an Agency under that Act.
