Taxi Industry Amendment (Passenger Transport) Regulations 2022
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Taxi and Hire Vehicle Industries Act 2008 .

These regulations may be cited as the Taxi Industry Amendment (Passenger Transport) Regulations 2022 .
These regulations take effect on the day on which the Passenger Transport Services Amendment Regulations 2022 commence.
In these regulations, the Taxi Industry Regulations 2018 are referred to as the Principal Regulations.
4. Regulation 21 rescinded
Regulation 21 of the Principal Regulations is rescinded.
5. Regulation 27 rescinded
Regulation 27 of the Principal Regulations is rescinded.
6. Regulations 59 , 60 , 61 and 62 rescinded
Regulations 59 , 60 , 61 and 62 of the Principal Regulations are rescinded.
7. Regulation 69A rescinded
Regulation 69A of the Principal Regulations is rescinded.

(This note is not part of the regulation)
These regulations amend the Taxi Industry Regulations 2018 by making amendments consequential on the commencement of (a) certain provisions of the On-Demand Passenger Transport Services Industry (Miscellaneous Amendments) Act 2020; and(b) the Passenger Transport Services Amendment Regulations 2022.
