Electricity Supply Industry Concession Amendment Order 2022

I make the following order under section 43D of the Electricity Supply Industry Act 1995 .

1.   Short title

This order may be cited as the Electricity Supply Industry Concession Amendment Order 2022 .

2.   Commencement

This order takes effect on 1 July 2022.

3.   Principal Order

In this order, the Electricity Supply Industry Concession Order 2016 is referred to as the Principal Order.

4.    Clause 3 amended (Interpretation)

Clause 3(1) of the Principal Order is amended by inserting after paragraph (f) in the definition of approved home-based life support machine the following paragraph:

(fa) a continuous positive airways pressure machine; and

5.    Clause 5 amended (Medical cooling or heating concession)

Clause 5(8) of the Principal Order is amended by omitting "42.155 cents" and substituting "47.163 cents".

6.    Clause 7 amended (Annual electricity concession)

Clause 7 of the Principal Order is amended as follows:

(a) by omitting from subclause (9) "140.740 cents" and substituting "157.460 cents";

(b) by omitting from subclause (10) "30 June 2021" and substituting "30 June 2022";

(c) by omitting from subclause (10) "1 September 2021" and substituting "1 September 2022";

(d) by omitting from subclause (10) "$125" and substituting "$119";

(e) by omitting from subclause (10) "winter energy supplement" and substituting "Winter Bill Buster discount";

(f) by omitting from subclause (11) "winter energy supplement is a supplement" and substituting "Winter Bill Buster discount is a discount";

(g) by omitting from subclause (11) "winter energy supplement" second occurring and substituting "Winter Bill Buster discount";

(h) by omitting from subclause (12) "winter energy supplement" and substituting "Winter Bill Buster discount";

(i) by omitting from subclause (12) "$125" twice occurring and substituting "$119".

7.    Schedule 1 amended (Concessions in Respect of Life Support Systems)

Schedule 1 to the Principal Order is amended by omitting the table and substituting:
