Financial Management Amendment Order 2021
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following order under section 8 of the Financial Management Act 2016 .

This order may be cited as the Financial Management Amendment Order 2021 .
This order takes effect on 1 December 2021.
In this order, the Financial Management Act 2016 is referred to as the Principal Act.
4. Schedule 1 amended (General Government Sector Agencies)
Part 1 of Schedule 1 to the Principal Act is amended as follows:(a) by omittingand substituting the following item:
Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment
Secretary of the Department
Department of Natural Resources and Environment Tasmania
Secretary of the Department
(b) by inserting afterthe following item:
Director of Public Prosecutions
The person appointed as Director of Public Prosecutions under section 4(1) of the Director of Public Prosecutions Act 1973
Environment Protection Authority
The chief executive officer of the Environment Protection Authority
Displayed and numbered in accordance with the Rules Publication Act 1953.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the order)
This order amends the Financial Management Act 2016 by –(a) including the Environment Protection Authority as an Agency for the purposes of that Act; and(b) updating the name of an Agency to reflect the change in Department name.
