State Service (Agencies and Heads of Agencies) Order 2021

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following order under section 12 of the State Service Act 2000 .

1.   Short title

This order may be cited as the State Service (Agencies and Heads of Agencies) Order 2021 .

2.   Commencement

This order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.

3.   Principal Act

In this order, the State Service Act 2000 is referred to as the Principal Act.

4.    Schedule 1 amended (Agencies)

Schedule 1 to the Principal Act is amended by omitting Part 2 and substituting the following:

This order is administered in the Department of Premier and Cabinet.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the order)

This order substitutes Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the State Service Act 2000 so as to alter the title of the office that is the Head of Agency in relation to the Public Trustee.
