Community Protection (Offender Reporting) Amendment Regulations 2020
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Community Protection (Offender Reporting) Act 2005 .

These regulations may be cited as the Community Protection (Offender Reporting) Amendment Regulations 2020 .
These regulations take effect on the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette.
In these regulations, the Community Protection (Offender Reporting) Regulations 2016 are referred to as the Principal Regulations.
4. Regulation 6 amended (Corresponding offender reporting orders)
Regulation 6 of the Principal Regulations is amended by inserting after paragraph (f) the following paragraph:(fa) a child sex offender registration order under the Child Sex Offenders Registration Act 2006 of South Australia;
These regulations are rescinded on the first anniversary of the day on which they took effect.

These regulations are administered in the Department of Police, Fire and Emergency Management.

These regulations prescribe, for the purposes of the Community Protection (Offender Reporting) Act 2005 , a child sex offender registration order under the Child Sex Offenders Registration Act 2006 of South Australia as a class of corresponding offender reporting orders.
