Litter (Infringement Offences) Amendment Regulations 2019
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Litter Act 2007 .

These regulations may be cited as the Litter (Infringement Offences) Amendment Regulations 2019 .
These regulations take effect on 13 December 2019.
In these regulations, the Litter (Infringement Offences) Regulations 2011 are referred to as the Principal Regulations.
4. Schedule 1 amended (Infringement Offences and Penalties)
Schedule 1 to the Principal Regulations is amended as follows:(a) by inserting after item 1 the following:
Section 9(1): if the offence is of the kind referred to in paragraph (d) of the penalty to that section

(b) by inserting after item 2 the following:
Section 9(2): if the offence is of the kind referred to in paragraph (d) of the penalty to that section

(c) by inserting after item 3 the following:
Section 9(3): if the offence is of the kind referred to in paragraph (c) of the penalty to that section

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the regulation)
These regulations amend the Litter (Infringement Offences) Regulations 2011 , consequent on the enactment of the Litter Amendment Act 2019, to include offences under sections 9 and 9A of the Litter Act 2007 as infringement offences and specify in relation to each such infringement offence the penalty that is payable under an infringement notice.
