Inland Fisheries (World Fly Fishing Championship) Order 2019
I make the following order under section 197 of the Inland Fisheries Act 1995 .

This order may be cited as the Inland Fisheries (World Fly Fishing Championship) Order 2019 .
This order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.
(1) In this order Act means the Inland Fisheries Act 1995 ;Championship means the 39th FIPS Mouche World Fly Fishing Championship held in 2019 in Tasmania;WFFC-registered team member means a person who is a member of a team that holds registration to compete in the Championship.(2) An expression in this order that is defined in the Act has the same meaning as so defined.(3) Any period specified in this order and identified by days and dates is inclusive of those days and dates.
(1) Subject to subclause (2) , the taking of freshwater fish is prohibited as follows:(a) between 11:59 p.m. on Sunday 24 November 2019 and 11:59 p.m. on Friday 6 December 2019 in the following locations:(i) the Mersey River downstream from the bridge on Olivers Road, Liena to the bridge on Native Plains Road, Railton;(ii) the Meander River from the Meander Dam at Huntsman Lake to the bridge on Long Ridge Road, Deloraine;(b) between 11:59 p.m. on Sunday 1 December 2019 and 11:59 p.m. on Friday 6 December 2019 in the following locations:(i) Little Pine Lagoon; and(ii) Penstock Lagoon; and(iii) Woods Lake.(2) Subclause (1) does not apply to a WFFC-registered team member taking freshwater fish in the course of competing in the Championship.
This order is revoked on 31 December 2019.
